We offer a low pressure approach to music recording in a relaxed recording space with our goal to bring you the most satisfying recording experience possible. We make sure that our clients get much more than what they expect. We are well versed in recording many styles including Acoustic singer-songwriter, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Funk, World, HipHop, and Classical.
Other services include mixing/mastering projects from home demos and other studios. We also provide original music composition, arranging and recording for film, TV, web.
Production music created in house in various styles has been featured on TV networks such as CBS, Disney, Showtime, Netflix and other streaming services. Music has been featured on series such as Homeland, CSI New York, Criminal Minds, CSI New York, BoJack Horseman.
We have many session musicians also available upon request for solo artists who don't have bands.
Craig Hlady
is an accomplished guitarist, composer, Berklee College of Music Professor, Recording Artist and has been playing and recording music for more than 35 years. Starting in the mid 1980's Craig worked as a session guitarist, arranger, and engineer at a busy 24 track recording studio in Boston, recording and producing hundreds of bands and solo artists while cutting his teeth with 2" tape and later digital media before building his own studio Tower Recording and Productions In 1995.
It was then Tower Productions was born offering a relaxed Intimate studio recording space with a low pressure approach to music recording .
Mike Hlady has been a recording engineer for over 15 years as well as drummer, multi-instrumentalist, and Berklee Alumni. Touring abroad as well as throughout the East Coast, (House of Blues, Boston, Maida Vale Studios (BBC1) London, England).
Mike worked in Austin, the live music capital of the world from 2016-2020 before returning back to MA. Some of Mike’s recording endeavor’s have included bands like Magic Magic, Green Seas, Holiday Music, Soft Fangs, Sasha and the Valentines, Spirit Ghost, Lost Film, Sailor Down, Mike Cozzo, as well as close friends and family. In the world of live sound Mike has Engineered for artists like Palm, Disq, Iceage, Fontanes D.C, Destroyer, Shame, Leikeli47, Mamalarky, Crumb, Little River Band, Dan Deacon, Sloppy Jane, Vagabon, Ezra Furman, Being Dead, Quest Love, The Oysters, and many more
Our rates are very reasonable, including special discounts for new clients and 10 hour block rates. We will look at each project individually to determine what will work best for each of our clients. We have a Yamaha baby grand piano available as well full drum kit, vintage amps and guitars, synths, main recording room, ISO booth, control room and a large assortment of microphones, virtual instruments, sample libraries, audio hardware, and plugins .
Located a short drive or 15 minute train ride from downtown Boston with a commuter rail stop 2 blocks away. We are also easily accessible driving from RT93, RT95/128 and the Mass Pike all near by.
